As a highly regarded harmonica customizer, Joel has pioneered new tunings and instrument modifications that open up fresh musical possibilities. Born on the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden, Joel honed his craft through long, dark winters under the northern lights — an experience that shaped his powerful, rhythmic, and unmistakable style. Today, he performs and records with world-class musicians, including Enda Scahill, in the band The Dark Well.
